HI, I'M
BEN

Social Media + Content Marketing

Social strategy that turns brand goals into content people actually care about.

I build audience-first strategies, campaign ideas, and practical content systems. My work spans destination brands, tech education, architecture, and SaaS—with equal comfort in the strategy deck, the comment section, and the content calendar.

Third-party validation where it matters, plus the independent studio where I keep turning marketing instincts into things people can actually use.

About Ben

Strategy brain. Hands-on marketer. Useful internet person.

I’m a social media and content marketing professional who connects audience insight, business goals, and strong creative ideas—then builds practical systems that help teams keep doing the work well.

More about me

The useful longer version

I’ve worked across destination brands, tech education, architecture, and SaaS. I can lead the strategy, write the copy, shape the campaign, manage the calendar, work the comments, coordinate with stakeholders, and help a good idea survive contact with the real world.

I also build small tools when a marketing workflow is clunky. That work strengthens my social-media practice through audience empathy, product thinking, experimentation, and a better understanding of the technology behind modern content teams.

Off the clock: girl dad, husband to a zookeeper, theme-park person, gamer, and firm believer that “professional” does not have to mean “written by a committee of beige cardigans.”

How I work

Start with the goal

Tie attention to awareness, trust, action, revenue, or a clearer brand position.

Respect the platform

Keep the brand recognizable without copy-pasting one idea into every feed.

Build useful systems

Create planning rhythms and reusable formats that leave room for timely creativity.

Learn and iterate

Measure what changed, own what did not work, and make the next idea smarter.

Nobody Creative / Builder Mode

I also build things.

Product marketer first. Technical enough to prototype, debug and ship.

Any good marketer learns the product. Working at a coding school for two years meant learning the fundamentals of full-stack web development, APIs, deployment, and debugging instead of treating technology like a black box.

Today I use AI to speed up the process across the work I do—from research and concepting to prototyping, troubleshooting, repetitive production work, QA, and iteration. The leverage is speed; the strategy, judgment, taste, and final decisions still have to come from me.
